My Background

Originally from the Mojave desert in California, Cameron is a performer newly based in Austin, TX. He has worked with many notable theatre companies and creatives such as San Francisco Playhouse, 42nd Street Moon, Berkeley Playhouse, Todrick Hall, and many others. In 2023, Cameron won the B. Iden Payne Award for Outstanding Featured Performer in a Musical for his portrayal of Dominique in The Baker’s Wife at Alchemy Theatre. Other selected Texas credits include The Last Five Years (Jamie) and 9 to 5 with TexArts.

Cameron first became involved in theatre when he played Raggedy Andy in a play put on by his hometown’s Parks & Rec. department. He became more interested in acting through his high school drama program at which time he also participated heavily in the California State Thespians. While attending UC Berkeley, he minored in theatre while working professionally in regional theaters. Now, he is working as an artist in theatre and film with the occasional feature role as a barista or server.
